Job Description
Fortune Media is seeking a Sponsorship Account Executive for Fortune Conferences, a role based in Austin, Texas. This role is also remote. The Sponsorship Account Manager will develop and manage an account list, proactively generating revenue and increasing brand visibility for the organization. The individual will collaborate with clients to understand their thought leadership objectives and create tailored sponsorship packages. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sponsorship sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. They should be a trustworthy team player capable of creativity and big picture partnership building.Role involves:
  • Developing and implementing sponsorship sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identifying and targeting potential sponsors.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key decision makers.
  • Collaborating with internal partners to create customized sponsorship packages.
  • Negotiating sponsorship agreements and contracts.
  • Working with Client Services team to ensure timely and accurate deliver of sponsor commitments.
  • Providing regular reporting via Salesforce.
  • Maintaining a high level of knowledge of industry trends.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience in sponsorship sales or business development for conferences or events.
  • Excellent sales skills with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and email marketing tools.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for driving revenue and nurturing client relationships.
