Job Description
Fortune Media is seeking a Sponsorship Account Executive to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and high-performing individual with experience in selling thought leadership event sponsorships for both in-person and virtual events.
The Sponsorship Account Manager will be responsible for developing and managing an account list by proactively reaching out to generate revenue and increase brand visibility for Fortune Media. This individual will work closely with clients to understand their thought leadership objectives and create tailored sponsorship packages to meet their needs.
Role involves:
- Developing and implementing sponsorship sales strategies.
- Identifying and targeting potential sponsors.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers.
- Collaborating with internal partners to create customized sponsorship packages.
- Negotiating sponsorship agreements and contracts.
- Working with the Client Services team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of sponsor commitments.
- Providing regular reporting via Salesforce.
- Maintaining a high level of knowledge of industry trends.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 5-10 years of experience in sponsorship sales or business development for conferences or events.
- Excellent sales, communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and email marketing tools.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Passion for driving revenue and nurturing client relationships.
