Staff Software Engineer, Fullstack

Job Description

OneSignal is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Fullstack to join their team. This role involves collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, and fellow engineers to build high-impact features. The engineer will design and deploy high-scale, efficient distributed systems and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement through code reviews and architectural decisions. They will also lead projects, write technical design documents, and participate in an on-call rotation.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience building high volume, scalable SaaS applications
• Strong experience with service-oriented, server-side development (Rust, Ruby + Rails)
• Experience breaking down large projects into manageable tasks
• Passion for mentoring junior engineers
