UI/UX Designer

Job Description

Fortune Media is seeking a Mid-Level UI/UX Designer to collaborate with product, technology, and editorial teams. The designer will create user-centered interfaces that enhance audience interaction with content. This role focuses on both visual design and overall user experience, crafting intuitive designs that reflect the brand and are optimized for engagement and accessibility.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, test, and iterate on new features and user interfaces.
• Developing wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs for web and mobile applications.
• Conducting user research and testing to inform design decisions.
• Refining and optimizing the user interface based on feedback and performance metrics.
• Maintaining brand consistency across all design elements.
• Staying updated on industry trends and contributing to design systems.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• 5-10 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in the media, high-volume B2C, or entertainment/content industry.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in user-centered design.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• A solid understanding of user experience principles, responsive design, and mobile-first design strategies.
• Experience conducting user research and testing.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for creating engaging digital experiences.

• Total compensation range: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 base salary
