Job Description
Blockchain.com is seeking a Software Engineer to join their KYC & Eligibility team. This role is based in Paris and focuses on building and optimizing onboarding and identity verification processes. The engineer will collaborate with various teams to ensure secure and seamless customer access while meeting regulatory requirements.
Role involves:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining the KYC & Eligibility platform.
- Integrating with third-party identity verification providers (Sumsub, Veriff, DXC).
- Writing high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Improving fraud detection and prevention mechanisms.
- Collaborating with backend and frontend engineers.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in JVM languages (Kotlin, Java), Kafka and PostgresSQL.
- Experience with identity verification providers such as Sumsub, Veriff, and DXC.
- Strong understanding of event driven distributed systems, APIs, and microservices architectures.
- Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with security best practices in KYC, fraud detection, and compliance systems.
- Experience working in high-throughput, low-latency environments.
- Experience with SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL databases (Redis).
