Python Developer / Data Scientist at Knowde

Knowde, a global software company, is seeking an experienced Python Engineer with a focus on AI and Machine Learning to join their team. They are digitally transforming the chemical industry by organizing and digitizing product data, providing tools to accelerate digital transformation for suppliers and distributors.

The Python Engineer will play a crucial role in connecting Knowde's systems and applications, contributing to system architecture, and developing the AI chatbot platform and other AI-related solutions.

What this role involves:

• Collaborating within a small, remote team, working closely with product and technical leadership on strategic direction and key technical decisions.
• Leading the transformation of extracted information into structured data through refinement, cleaning, and normalization.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient data processing pipelines.
• Integrating various internal APIs to enhance system capabilities and user experience.
• Contributing to the overall system architecture for scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial experience in the Python ecosystem.
• 2+ years of commercial experience in machine learning, data science, natural language processing, or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with AI libraries (Langchain, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Keras).
• Proficiency in data science tools and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
• Experience with API development and integration.
• Fluent in speaking and writing English.
