Sr. ERP Platform Engineer

Job Description

The Weather Company is seeking a Sr. ERP Platform Engineer to lead the development of comprehensive Accounting & Finance workflow solutions. This role is accountable for the technical design, development, and delivery of The Weather Company (TWC) ERP native and custom workflow solutions, reports, and integrations.

The Sr. ERP Platform Engineer will implement high-quality, scalable solutions on the NetSuite (ERP/WMS) platform, including configuration and code, complex integrations, and automated deployment tools. This role will take ownership of technical deliverables, ensure production-grade quality work, and exceed stakeholder expectations.

This role is part advanced platform administrator, part developer, and part technical solutions architect.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading technical design discussions and managing architecture
• Designing, developing, and implementing business system solutions, including custom applications, workflows, and integrations
• Ensuring ERP workflow solutions align with business requirements and best practices
• Participating in projects, from initial discussions to development, deployment, and support, following agile practices
• Ensuring stability, performance, and security of business systems
• Monitoring system health, performing regular maintenance, and implementing upgrades and patches as necessary
• Identifying opportunities to improve and optimize business system processes and solutions
• Staying current with application releases and new features, and evaluating their potential impact on the organization
• Working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and other departments
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation

The ideal candidate will have:

• 8+ years of experience in corporate business systems engineering, specifically focusing on Accounting & Finance systems integrations
• In-depth knowledge of financial systems such as Oracle NetSuite, Oracle Financials, SAP, Warehouse Management System, etc.
• Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, SQL, and Python
