Director, Development and Outreach at Human Rights Watch

Human Rights Watch is seeking a Director of Development and Outreach to lead fundraising and outreach efforts in France. This role involves mobilizing support from donors, nurturing relationships, and growing the donor base. The Director will collaborate with the HRW France Director and the Paris Committee.Responsibilities include:

• Developing and overseeing a strategic fundraising plan for France.
• Securing philanthropic commitments from individual and foundation donors.
• Identifying and developing strategic fundraising and outreach initiatives.
• Collaborating with the Paris Committee to maximize fundraising results.
• Representing Human Rights Watch to existing and prospective supporters.
• Overseeing income tracking, projections, and budget management.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years of fundraising experience.
• Demonstrated success in managing major gift programs.
• Strong commitment to human rights.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English.
• Management experience.
