CVX Ventures is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to lead its Danish division in Copenhagen. The role involves strategic and operational responsibility within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate will be driven, structured, and possess the ability to build trust with people.

CVX is a fast-growing venture investor in Europe, aiming to become the largest by providing capital, knowledge, and network to high-growth companies. The company currently consists of 20 individuals across Copenhagen, London, Oslo, Stockholm, and Helsinki.

What This Role Involves:

• Defining and executing strategy, with continuous adjustments.
• Leading potential acquisitions.
• Building a pool of value-adding partners.
• Finding and attracting investment cases.
• Leading end-to-end investment deals.
• Representing CVX at events.

Requirements:

• High work ethic and sense of urgency.
• 3+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, venture capital, high-growth startups, or fast-paced environments.
• Proactive approach and ownership.
• Deep interest in venture capital and startups.
• People-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated success in exceeding targets.
• Leadership skills.
• Fluency in Danish and English.
• A network in the Danish startup ecosystem is preferred.
