CVX Ventures is seeking a dynamic and strategic CEO to lead its Danish division in Copenhagen. The CEO will be responsible for shaping the company's vision, driving operational excellence, and ensuring long-term profitability.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a natural ability to build trust and relationships. The candidate should also be extremely driven, hands-on, and has the ability to inspire a high-performing team.
CVX is one of Europe's fastest-growing venture investors and is on its way to becoming Europe's largest venture investor by providing growth companies with capital, knowledge, and networks.
Role Involves:
- Defining and executing strategy, adapting as needed.
- Leading Danish expansion, including potential acquisitions.
- Managing the Danish P&L and overall operations.
- Expanding and maintaining a valuable partner pool.
- Developing and leading a team of 15 in sales, board management, events, and marketing.
- Identifying and attracting the best investment opportunities.
- Leading investment deals from sourcing to investment.
- Representing CVX at events and conferences.
Requirements:
- High work ethic with a strong sense of urgency.
- Strong drive and desire to be the best.
- 5+ years of experience in a dynamic environment such as management consulting, investment banking, venture capital, or high-growth startups.
- Proactive and able to take ownership.
- Deep engagement in the venture capital and startup environment.
- Ability to build strong relationships.
- Effective communication at management and board levels.
- Ability to gain trust from business leaders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue goals.
- Natural sales ability.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Fluent in Danish and English.
- Existing network in the Danish startup ecosystem (preferred).
