CVX Ventures is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director to lead their Danish branch in Copenhagen. The Director will shape the company's vision, drive operational excellence, and ensure long-term profitability. CVX is one of Europe's fastest-growing venture investors, aiming to be the largest by providing growth companies with capital, knowledge, and network.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a natural ability to build trust and relationships, driven, hands-on, and able to inspire a high-performing team. The role involves strengthening leadership skills through projects and coaching within the Danish venture environment.

Role Involves:

• Defining and executing strategy, adapting as needed.
• Leading Danish expansion, including potential acquisitions.
• Managing the Danish P&L and operations.
• Expanding and maintaining a valuable partner pool.
• Developing and leading a team of 15 in sales, board management, events, marketing.
• Identifying and attracting investment opportunities.
• Leading investment deals from sourcing to investment.
• Representing CVX at events and conferences.

Requirements:

• High work ethic and sense of urgency.
• Strong drive and ambition.
• 5+ years' experience in management consulting, investment banking, venture capital, or similar.
• Proactive approach and ownership.
• Engagement in venture capital and startups.
• Ability to build strong relationships.
• Effective communication at management and board levels.
• Trustworthiness with business leaders.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Success in achieving revenue goals.
• Sales abilities.
• Leadership skills.
• Fluency in Danish and English.
• Existing network in the Danish startup ecosystem (preferred).
