DoorDash is seeking a Manager of Finance & Strategy to guide its strategy in Canada. This role involves being a strategic advisor to key partners, ensuring efficient investment, and enhancing the marketplace experience. The Manager will lead financial reporting, forecasting, and planning, providing financial insights for operational decisions. This is a hybrid role based in DoorDash's Toronto office, reporting to the Director of Finance & Strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct weekly reporting of financial performance for Canadian New Verticals (Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol) businesses.
  • Forecast key financial metrics based on quantitative analysis of historical data.
  • Support quarterly financial planning for DoorDash’s Canadian business, collaborating with cross-functional partners to identify growth areas and business priorities.
  • Deep-dive into complex operational questions and collaborate cross-functionally to uncover optimal data-driven decisions.
  • Identify key opportunities & risks, quantify impacts, propose solutions, and ensure efficient execution.
  • Leverage knowledge of SQL, finance, analytics, and technology to manage financial reporting, forecasting, and quantitative analysis.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or Consulting.
  • Experience in project management and budget management.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Experience building financial models for teams throughout the company.
  • Experience using analytics tools and manipulating large datasets.
  • Familiarity with Data & Decisions, Data Analytics, Business Strategy, and related areas.
  • Experience working with Senior Stakeholders.
