DoorDash is seeking a Manager of Finance & Strategy to guide its strategy in Canada. This role involves being a strategic advisor to key partners, ensuring efficient investment, and enhancing the marketplace experience. The Manager will lead financial reporting, forecasting, and planning, providing financial insights for operational decisions. This is a hybrid role based in DoorDash's Toronto office, reporting to the Director of Finance & Strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct weekly reporting of financial performance for Canadian New Verticals (Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol) businesses.
- Forecast key financial metrics based on quantitative analysis of historical data.
- Support quarterly financial planning for DoorDash’s Canadian business, collaborating with cross-functional partners to identify growth areas and business priorities.
- Deep-dive into complex operational questions and collaborate cross-functionally to uncover optimal data-driven decisions.
- Identify key opportunities & risks, quantify impacts, propose solutions, and ensure efficient execution.
- Leverage knowledge of SQL, finance, analytics, and technology to manage financial reporting, forecasting, and quantitative analysis.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or Consulting.
- Experience in project management and budget management.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Experience building financial models for teams throughout the company.
- Experience using analytics tools and manipulating large datasets.
- Familiarity with Data & Decisions, Data Analytics, Business Strategy, and related areas.
- Experience working with Senior Stakeholders.
