Job Description
eyeo is seeking a Senior C++ Engineer with Mandarin language skills to join their B2B Solutions team. The role involves working on browser ad-filtering solutions and developing ad-filtering solutions beyond the browser. The candidate will participate in partner communications, contribute code, benchmark and optimize software performance, and collaborate with the Engineering Lead and Product Manager.
Responsibilities include:
- Participating in partner communications in English and/or Chinese
- Contributing code in a variety of projects
- Benchmarking and optimizing software performance
- Working with Engineering Lead and Product Manager
- Exploring new engineering opportunities
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in modern C++
- High proficiency in Mandarin Chinese
- Experience in developing, compiling, and optimizing code for Linux
- Knowledge of the Linux networking stack and routing protocols
- Experience with continuous integration
- Working knowledge of a scripting language (e.g., Python)
- High proficiency in verbal and written English
- Proactivity to solve problems
- Ability to break down product requirements into projects
- Ability to make decisions based on measurements and tests
- Ability to work in a remote-first company
