Senior C++ Engineer (Mandarin Speaker) - London / Remote from the UK at eyeo

eyeo is seeking a Senior C++ Engineer to join their B2B Solutions team. The company transforms the internet into a trusted, sustainable, and accessible place. This role involves working on Browser Ad-Filtering Solutions (BAS) and developing ad-filtering solutions beyond the browser.

The Senior C++ Engineer will participate in partner communications, contribute code, benchmark and optimize software performance, and explore new engineering opportunities. The candidate will work closely with the Engineering Lead and Product Manager to promote new features and ensure partner requests are implemented.

Responsibilities

• Participate in partner communications in English and/or Chinese
• Participate in technical discussions
• Contribute code in various projects
• Benchmark and optimize software performance
• Work with Engineering Lead and Product Manager on new features
• Explore new engineering opportunities

Requirements

• Extensive experience in modern C++
• High proficiency in Mandarin Chinese
• Experience in developing, compiling, and optimizing code for Linux
• Knowledge of the Linux networking stack and routing protocols
• Experience with continuous integration
• Working knowledge of a scripting language (e.g., Python)
• High proficiency in English
• Proactive problem-solving skills
• Ability to break down product requirements
• Ability to make data-driven decisions
• Ability to work remotely
