Convera is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to support B2B sales across Spain. The candidate will be responsible for building a diverse pipeline of clients, identifying business opportunities, and contributing to sales strategic planning. The role involves managing the entire sales process, maintaining knowledge of the FX market, and presenting Convera's solutions to meet client needs.

Role Involves:

  • Contributing to sales strategic planning and business development initiatives.
  • Developing and executing strategic sales plans.
  • Managing the entire 360-degree sales process independently.
  • Identifying new leads and opportunities.
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and partners.
  • Leading negotiations with clients, securing profitable agreements.
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintaining accurate forecasts and insights on customer requirements, trends, and risks.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in international payments or financial services.
  • 3-6 years in FX, payments, or financial markets.
  • Extensive sales experience within a global organization.
  • Proven ability to navigate gatekeepers to reach C-Suite level relationships.
  • Strong sales management, business acumen, and strategic account management skills.
  • Knowledge of international payments and foreign exchange products.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Highspot) and MS Office Suite.
  • Fluency to a native level in Spanish, Catalan is a plus.
  • Fluency in English (oral and written).
