Convera is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the stability and resilience of their systems. The ideal candidate will lead incident management, reduce MTTR, and champion anti-fragility across architecture and deployment processes. They will also elevate the customer experience and share industry best practices in SRE.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading incident management and orchestrating responses.
  • Proactively reducing Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR).
  • Championing an anti-fragility mindset in architecture and deployment.
  • Elevating customer experience as a reliability benchmark.
  • Sharing SRE best practices and fostering innovation.
  • Facilitating blameless post-mortems and streamlining incident management.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with complex, multi-region, cloud-native systems within Amazon Web Services.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Go, or Rust.
  • Experience implementing global CI/CD pipelines and driving automation.
  • Expertise in defining service quality metrics (RED, Golden Signals) and managing error budgets.
  • Proficiency in Linux, cloud networking, microservices architecture, and Amazon EKS.
