Convera is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the stability and resilience of its systems. The Senior Site Reliability Engineer will lead incident management, identify and mitigate risks, and uphold Convera's service reliability. The SRE elevates customer experience and shares industry best practices.
Role Involves:
- Taking the lead on incident management
- Proactively reducing Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR)
- Championing an anti-fragility mindset
- Elevating the customer experience
- Sharing industry best practices in SRE
- Facilitating blameless post-mortems
Requirements:
- Extensive experience navigating complex, multi-region, cloud-native systems within Amazon Web Services
- Demonstrable proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Go, or Rust
- A track record of implementing global, multi-regional Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Expertise in defining and monitoring service quality metrics
- Proficiency in Linux, cloud networking, microservices architecture, and Amazon EKS
