Convera is seeking a Senior Manager, Product Management Partnerships to shape the future of its platform API business and contribute to new customer solutions. This role involves leading a small team of PMs, developing the strategy for exposing platform APIs to partners, and managing the partner journey. The Senior Manager will evangelize the partnership value proposition to stakeholders and customers, working with sales, implementation, engineering, and other product managers.

Role involves:
  • Building the Partnership product strategy.
  • Stewarding delivery of the partnership product roadmap.
  • Understanding the competitive landscape.
  • Meeting with prospects and customers.
  • Managing a small team of PMs.
  • Setting standards for engineering contributing to external APIs.
  • Evangelizing product roadmap.
  • Defining and tracking product success criteria.
  • Prioritizing feature backlog.
  • Evaluating technical, operational, and business tradeoffs.

Requirements:
  • 8+ years relevant experience with at least 5 years of product management experience.
  • Ability to create clear, concise technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in platform development and packaging as a product.
  • Strong grounding in architecture principles.
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to build organizational trust and strong partnerships.
