Senior Software Engineer - JAVA

Job Description

Convera is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Java, Spring framework, Spring Boot, IBM MQ, and AWS to work on complex projects independently. The candidate will develop and implement new software, maintain, and improve existing software at Convera. They will troubleshoot application issues and coordinate issue resolution.

Role Involves:

• Developing and implementing new software
• Maintaining and improving existing software
• Ensuring software functionality is implemented with code optimization
• Troubleshooting application issues
• Coordinating issue resolution with operations, functional, and technical teams

Requirements:

• 6-9 years of work experience
• Experience in Java, Spring framework, Spring Boot, and IBM MQ
• Strong hands-on Shell Scripting, REST API, and Microservices
• Exposure to Cloud (AWS), AWS services like EKS, S3, API Gateway etc.
• Experience in CSS, JavaScript, HTML5, TypeScript, developing with web standards
• Firm grasp of UI/UX principles
• Basic CI/CD(Jenkins) GIT knowledge
• Knowledge of Database (RDBMS, NoSQL) and Couchbase
• Experience in developing and implementing web-based solutions
• Experience in Agile and Iterative development methodologies
• Good communication skills
