Convera is seeking a Senior Digital Workplace Engineer to focus on Windows Endpoint Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of EUC imaging, patching solutions for Windows, MDM solution, and VDI solution. This role involves participating in technical investigations, collaborating with business counterparts, and serving as a technical expert for end-user computing tools. The engineer will also implement automation and partner with the information security team.
  • Serve as primary administrator for EUC imaging / patching solution for Windows
  • Server as primary administrator for MDM solution
  • Serve as primary administrator for VDI solution
  • Participate in technical investigation and architecture in the end user computing space for new tool implementations driving improvement in efficiencies and end user experience, specifically including solutions for patching and imaging computers, MDM, and VDI
  • Work with business counterparts to evaluate new categories of end user tools
  • Serve as a technical expert for end user computing tools and escalations
  • Participate in implementing automation, education, and self-serve tooling for incident and service request reduction
  • Partner with information security team on end user device end point protection tools and processing
The ideal candidate should have experience in designing and implementing end-user device management solutions, proficiency with Microsoft Intune and Workspace One, and a strong background in building large-scale endpoint management solutions. Experience in cloud infrastructure environments, particularly AWS, is a plus. Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.
  • Experience in designing and implementing end user device management solutions for Windows including imaging, patching, MDM, and VDI
  • Experience with Microsoft intune and Workspace One
  • Substantial background building and operating large-scale endpoint management solutions
  • Experience in cloud infrastructure environments, particularly AWS
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong oral and written communications with excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative working style to be able to partner with technology and business stakeholders across the organization and influence technology decisions
  • Ability to understand and drive service management/SLAs
  • A strong track record of executing in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Requires 4+ years of related technical and business experience
  • Experience in implementing and managing SaaS based digital workplace tools would be considered as an advantage
