Convera is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to enhance its cloud strategy. This role involves acting as a liaison between business partners and the IT organization to provide technical solutions using software applications like Oracle FUSION, Wall Street Suite, and IntelliMatch. The Senior Systems Analyst will report to IT leadership providing updates on project status, risks and escalations, along with delivering adhoc IT-related requests as required.

Role Involves:

  • Identifying, developing, and implementing solutions for various business initiatives.
  • Researching and analyzing existing processes to develop enhancement strategies.
  • Coordinating multiple projects with development, QA, UAT, infrastructure, finance, and operational teams.
  • Assisting and supporting end-user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Acting as a subject matter expert and providing best practices recommendations.
  • Establishing and maintaining close working relationships with business partners.
  • Gathering detailed business requirements and performing gap analyses.
  • Assisting with identifying and documenting data and integration issues.
  • Providing updates on project status, issues, risks, and change requests to leadership.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Minimum 6 years of functional/technical experience as a Business Analyst, QA Analyst, Support Analyst, or Systems Analyst.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP Finance modules.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis and as-is and to-be business process designs.
  • Commitment to accuracy, attention to detail, and customer service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and time management/organizational skills.
