Convera is seeking a Quantitative Financial Risk Manager to join their Financial and Regulatory Risk team. This role is crucial in helping management understand and manage financial and regulatory risks. The Quantitative Risk Manager will perform quantitative analyses, support ICARA reports and integrate with the global risk framework. Convera is the largest non-bank B2B cross-border payments company in the world.
- The role involves:
- Performing detailed quantitative analyses on financial risks.
- Supporting ICARA report preparation based on internal risk models.
- Ensuring integration of the financial risk management program within the enterprise framework.
- Maintaining financial risk registers and producing risk reporting.
- Providing practical interpretation and mitigation of risk issues.
- Delivering strategic projects to enhance the company risk culture.
- Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in consumer financial services, with 3+ years in quantitative risk management or consultancy.
- Proficiency in quantitative analysis and risk modeling using R and/or Python.
- Comprehensive understanding of FX Hedging/payment products, services, and operations.
- Strong analytical skills for analyzing root causes of business risk issues.
- Good project management skills.
- FRM/PRM or CFA Certification is a plus.
