Oportun is seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to enhance member experience and drive growth. The role involves managing multi-channel engagement across email, push, SMS, and in-app messaging for Oportun’s mobile app.Responsibilities include:
  • Optimizing lifecycle marketing campaigns.
  • Refining automated workflows for onboarding, activation, and engagement.
  • Ensuring platform stability across tools like Iterable, Twilio, and Branch.
  • Analyzing performance metrics and tying results to business outcomes.
  • Developing and implementing a testing strategy.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Maintaining compliance with legal and data privacy best practices.
  • Staying ahead of industry trends.
Requirements include:
  • 5+ years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, or retention marketing.
  • Hands-on experience with Iterable or similar marketing automation platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of push, in-app messaging, SMS, and email best practices.
  • Strong technical proficiency (HTML, CSS, JSON, SQL and dynamic scripting languages like AMPscript or Handlebar logic).
  • Proven ability to build & optimize lifecycle programs through automation, segmentation, and personalization.
  • Excellent project management skills.
