QA Engineer at Ping Identity

Ping Identity is seeking a motivated Junior Manual QA Tester to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and executing tests for mobile applications (iOS & Android), ensuring high quality and performance. He/she will collaborate with developers, product managers, and automation engineers to identify and report issues, document defects, and enhance the testing process.

The role involves:

• Review software requirements and specifications to understand functionality, scope, and potential risks.
• Design, write, and execute manual test cases for mobile applications (iOS & Android), ensuring test coverage, stability, and regression validation.
• Set up and configure test environments for both mobile applications and server-side components to ensure accurate and efficient testing.
• Communicate effectively with developers, QA team members, product managers, and automation engineers to understand requirements, discuss issues, and ensure alignment with QA best practices.
• Verify and validate defect fixes to ensure issues are properly resolved.
• Identify, document, and report defects using test management tools.

Requirements:

• Background of technical work experience in previous jobs / military
• Familiar with basic QA methodologies
• High level of English written and spoken
