Manager, Financial Reporting

Job Description

Ping Identity is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join their team. The Financial Reporting Manager will report to the Senior Manager of Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting. This role is responsible for overseeing the preparation and filing of required filings, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing internal and external reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and filing of quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Maintain strong internal controls over the financial reporting process.
• Interpret and apply U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
• Oversee the accounting and reporting of stock-based compensation and earnings per share disclosures.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors.
• Assist technical accounting team by providing conclusions on complex financial transactions.
• Manage, mentor, and develop junior team members.
• Lead special projects within the accounting function, researching issues and proposing potential solutions .
• Work closely with internal teams and external advisors to support all financial data reporting needs.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience.
• CPA.
• 4-6 years of relevant accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of US GAAP, SEC regulations and SOX controls.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Works well in a team environment, as well as independently.
• Excellent research & analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and follow through to execute all tasks.
