Ping Identity is seeking a Strategic Account Executive for the UK&I region. The role reports to the Regional Sales Director and focuses on net new logo acquisition and upselling within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate will leverage internal resources, a broad tech stack, and a global partner directory to achieve performance goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating and implementing a personal plan aligned with the regional sales strategy.
- Positioning and articulating Ping Identity's value proposition to customers.
- Negotiating and closing complex contracts with global partner support.
- Reporting on sales activity and forecasts to senior management.
- Preparing indicative subscription pricing and customer offers.
- Providing customer feedback to marketing, customer success, product management, and engineering teams.
- Collaborating to acquire specialist resources as needed.
The ideal candidate has:
- Significant quota-carrying experience selling enterprise software solutions.
- A results-oriented approach with a history of meeting or exceeding quota.
- A sustainable record of signing strategic and large projects with long sales cycles.
- Established C-level contacts.
- A successful record of dealing with strategic buyers.
- Deep knowledge of industry change drivers.
- Experience working with regional/national/global partners and system integrators.
- Prior training and experience in value selling and account planning methodologies.
