Xometry is seeking a Case Manager to join their team. In this role, the individual will be responsible for solving supply chain problems for customized parts and ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction. The Case Manager will work within a fast-moving team of technical professionals, leveraging their knowledge of manufacturing design and production to manage customer orders and partner jobs.
The Case Manager will be expected to provide excellent customer and partner service by building relationships and providing timely updates. They will also assess the impact of manufactured part rejections and work with suppliers and customers to resolve cases.
Role Involves:
- Improving on-time delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Tracking the progress of customer orders and partner jobs
- Providing customer service and order updates
- Applying technical knowledge to ensure timely job delivery
- Understanding supplier capabilities and performing oversight activities
- Assessing the impact of part rejections and manage customer complaints
- Reporting on the status, risk, and efforts to recover troubled orders
Requirements:
- Prior project management, supply chain, and customer service experience
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience in manufacturing or operations is preferred
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, engineering drawing requirements, and inspection methods
- Capable of identifying solutions to complex problems
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Strong organizational and communication skills
