Manual Quoter

Job Description

Xometry, a company that connects people with manufacturers, is seeking an experienced Manual Quoter to join their engineering team. The Manual Quoter will be responsible for client quoting, supplier sourcing, production planning, and supporting on-time order fulfillment.Role involves:

• Analyzing technical drawings and CAD models in English.
• Estimating production cost (materials + machine time + post-processing).
• Providing recommendations on manufacturing processes.
• Preparing and delivering detailed calculation results to the Sales/Quoting team.
• Structuring and documenting personal workflow and contributing to automation improvements.

Requirements:

• Higher technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in metalworking or mechanical engineering.
• Expert knowledge of machining processes, including turning, milling, CNC, EDM, and sheet metal operations.
• Familiarity with metal post-processing techniques.
• Solid understanding of various structural materials and their machinability.
• English proficiency of A2 or higher.
• Tech-savvy mindset and willingness to work with digital tools and software.
