Manual Quoter at Xometry Europe

Xometry is seeking a Manual Quoter to join its engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for client quoting, supplier sourcing, production planning, and supporting on-time order fulfillment.He or she will work closely with machinists, quality, engineering, management, and other team members to successfully satisfy the end customer. The role involves analyzing engineering models/drawings, making proper estimations, and working with outside vendors.

• Experience with sourcing material and finishes

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• CAD proficiency
• Knowledge of sheet metal design and fabrication methods
• Experience communicating sheet metal design for manufacturability feedback
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication technologies, welding, and GD&T
• Experience with programming and set-up of water jet, laser, punch press, brake, and simple custom tooling knowledge
• Ability to interrogate engineering solid models and drawings
• Excellent organizational discipline
• Effective communication skills
• English C1
