Production and Quality Engineer - PMG (Program Management Group) at Xometry Europe

Xometry is seeking a Production and Quality Engineer for their Program Management Group in Bengaluru, India. This role involves managing the customer's product's technological and production process, acting as a liaison between the customer and supplier, and ensuring quality throughout. The Production and Quality Engineer represents customer's perspective and ensures interaction between customer and supplier.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating product development and launch.
• Ensuring transition from design to production.
• Implementing changes to the production system.
• Leading product definition and development for requirement compliance.
• Performing DFM analysis.
• Managing prototype and mass production.
• Tracking goal achievement in quality.
• Taking responsibility for product compliance and traceability.
• Preparing PPAP files.
• Ensuring timely response to corrective actions.
• Validating 8D from supplier, participation at escalation process.

Requirements:

• Higher technical education (engineer, design engineer, or similar).
• At least 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in automotive.
• Expertise in quality standards, documentation, and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of metal post-processing techniques and construction materials.
• High proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
