Quoting Specialist at Xometry Europe

Xometry, a company that connects people with manufacturers, is seeking a Quoting Specialist to support their Sales team. This role involves assisting with customer interactions and custom quote creation. The Quoting Specialist will be responsible for organizing and entering custom quote requests, reviewing technical documents, and maintaining quote databases.

Responsibilities include:

• Data Entry into Xometry Quote Platform
• Retrieve Quote Request information from both Automated and Manual channels
• Organize information for engineering review
• Dimension Drawing review
• RFQ document comprehension
• CAD file review
• Engage with Sales personnel for document clarification and correction
• Complete online and offline templates with available information
• Produce DRAFT quotes per approved methodology
• Present / Submit DRAFT quotes to Quote Engineers
• Maintain quote databases in a real-time basis
• Review and set-up custom quotes using Xometry’s platform
• Review 3D models and 2D drawings for the purpose of quoting and design-for-manufacturing feedback
• High-volume data entry, transfer, and management
• Performs all work in compliance with Xometry's quality and safety systems, policies, and procedures
• Review Salesforce Cases and Emails for service requests
• Answer requests whenever possible
• Direct requests to subject matter experts as required

Requirements:

• Associate degree or higher or equivalent experience
• Preferably in a manufacturing or technology-related field
• Technical aptitude
• Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerance is a plus
• Manufacturing background
• Customer service-oriented
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Previous experience with high-volume data entry and management
• High energy and comfortable interfacing with coworkers
• Communicates effectively in a polite and enthusiastic manner
• English C1
