Process Engineer / Technologist at Xometry Europe

Xometry, a company that connects people with manufacturers, is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their team. This role involves providing technical expertise and solutions to prospects and customers, supporting the sales team, and driving feedback for marketing collateral. The Solutions Engineer will play a crucial role in growing sales opportunities and ensuring customer satisfaction by offering suitable solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Support Sales and conduct discovery meetings
• Answer technical questions relating to Manufacturing
• Consult with prospects and customers
• Demonstrate Xometry capabilities
• Support internal product, sales and engineering teams
• Support marketing efforts

Requirements:

• Mechanically intuitive and knowledgeable about manufacturing processes
• Comfortable in technical discussions and presentations
• Experienced at preparing technical solutions for business proposals
• Engineering degree (mechanical preferred)
• 3 to 5+ years experience in an engineering or technical field
• Demonstrated project management and presentation skills
• CAD experience
• Expertise in Manufacturing, new product development, materials, CNC Machining, Additive Manufacturing, Injection Molding
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong interpersonal skills
