Lead Platform Consultant at Mesh-AI

Mesh-AI, a global data and AI consultancy, is seeking a Lead Platform Consultant to join their team in London. The company is backed by Columbia Capital and aims for significant growth in revenue and headcount.

The Lead Platform Consultant will be responsible for designing and building modern data systems on Azure or AWS, focusing on infrastructure, reliability, observability, and operations engineering. The role involves solving complex problems, understanding system interconnections, and implementing auto-provisioning technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design & build modern data systems on either Azure or AWS cloud environments
• Help customers exploit observability benefits to understand and better support microservices architecture
• Bring to life auto-provisioning technologies e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
• Improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of customer environments
• Work with CI/CD systems to enable automation of infrastructure at scale
• Engage with cross-functional squad across discovery & delivery phases of engagements; advisory, design & implementation

Requirements:

• Agile & Lean thinking mindset
• Experience with either Azure or AWS
• Good experience of infrastructure as code & configuration tools like Terraform & Ansible for automation
• Experience with software engineering best practices
• Pragmatic approach to solving problems
• Consulting background
