Principal Data Scientist at Mesh-AI

Mesh-AI is seeking a Principal Data Scientist to join their team in London. The ideal candidate will be responsible for owning the AI/ML domain, solving business problems, and designing data science and machine learning systems. This role involves bridging the gap between business and technology, leading discovery sessions, and contributing to internal initiatives.Responsibilities include:

• Owning AI/ML domain as part of a cross functional team.
• Solving business problems, understanding customer's needs, and designing solutions.
• Designing and building data science and machine learning systems with measurable impact.
• Communicating and managing expectations across customer stakeholders.
• Leading discovery sessions and workshops with customers.
• Providing technical mentorship and leadership.
• Contributing to internal initiatives such as blogs and thought leadership.

Requirements include:

• Substantial experience with Python and relevant libraries.
• Experience driving ML & data science solutions into production.
• Ability to translate numbers into a business perspective.
• Comfortable with hands-on involvement with customers and their problems.
• Experience with cloud computing ecosystems.
• Exposure to software engineering best practices.
• Proven record of applying AI/ML to solve business problems.
• Experience in a technical leadership capacity.
