Middle Office Analyst at Capstone Investment Advisors

Capstone Investment Advisors is seeking a Middle Office Analyst to join their team in London. The role involves managing a broad scope of trade support functions and overseeing the trade lifecycle. The Middle Office Analyst will collaborate closely with the Portfolio Management team and address inquiries from the trading desk.

Responsibilities and Impact:

• Manage trade bookings across a wide-range of products
• Assist PMs in monitoring the risk platform and troubleshoot any issues
• Monitor matching platforms and ensure all risk/bookings are accurate
• Work closely with Sales counterparts and Operations to ensure trades are allocated and settled
• Drive process improvements -- recognize inefficiencies or gaps, recommend improvements and help implement new processes
• Monitor control functions including P&L, breaks and EOD checks

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of Middle Office/Operations experience
• Ideally multi-product knowledge or at least one of the following: equities (cash & derivatives), fixed income, credit, FX and commodities
• Familiarity with the trade lifecycle and relevant controls
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented
• Proficient in Excel
• Experience with Bloomberg is a plus
