Front Office Engineer, Risk UI at Capstone Investment Advisors

Capstone Investment Advisors is seeking a highly motivated UX engineer to join their risk technology team in London. The company is one of the world’s leading asset management firms in derivatives and complementary strategies.

The Front Office Engineer will be responsible for designing and building user experiences for the next generation of Capstone's risk and trading platform, collaborating with engineers and investment teams across the firm. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional problem-solving skills, a collaborative mentality, and the ability to bring innovative ideas to life. The role offers great exposure to the many and varied areas of the hedge fund.

Responsibilities and Impact:

• Contribute to Capstone's state-of-the-art cross-asset risk & trading platform.
• Design and build a modern, intuitive user interface.
• Deliver innovative visualizations of complex, multi-dimensional datasets.
• Build out screens for displaying risk data in tabular and graphical formats.

Requirements:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience building production level UIs using React or Angular.
• Experience with UX interacting with data and systems via API’s and service calls.
• JavaScript & UI design.
• Basic experience with SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative team player with strong verbal communication skills.
• 4+ years working experience, ideally in the financial industry.
