Iterative Health is seeking a Clinical Research Finance Manager to serve as the subject matter expert for clinical research site finances, both internally and externally. The Clinical Research Finance Manager will strategically partner with potential and existing clinical research sites within the Iterative Health network to establish and grow the research clinic’s financial processes.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the IH finance team with AR and AP related to the RealTime platform and clinical research studies.
- Invoicing and collections for clinical research sites.
- Monitoring contract progress and invoicing sponsors accordingly.
- Collecting Precision enrollment data from the Professional Services Team.
- Building new study profiles within the CTMS, understanding the relationship between study protocol and Clinical Trial Agreements (CTA).
- Creating and maintaining monthly Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) visit reports for all research sites.
- Training sites on clinical research finances and financial activities best practices.
- Creating and presenting monthly and end-of-year financial reports to key stakeholders.
- Liaising between site finance and research departments.
- Conducting full study financial closeout reviews for each research site.
- Assisting in setting up P&L and balance sheets (GAAP principles).
- Guiding the use of patient stipend cards, reconciling them, and working with Iterative Health's internal finance team to post sponsor study payments in the research site CTMS.
- Assisting research sites in creating and distributing research study invoices to sponsors.
- Negotiating study budgets between the site and the Sponsor/CRO, and IH.
- Working with study sponsor financial contact to ensure invoicing accuracy and timely sponsor payments.
Requirements include:
- At least 7 years’ experience working with clinical research finance for a research site.
- 5+ years experience in a strategic customer facing role
- Strong working knowledge of invoicing, tracking account payable/ receivable, and clinical research budgets.
- Knowledge of a Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS); RealTime and/or CRIO is required.
- Willingness to occasionally work outside of normal working hours to accommodate varying time zones.
