BELLA+CANVAS is seeking a Technical Support Retail Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for store IT issues. The role involves providing over-the-phone and remote support, as well as managing vendors to ensure maximum uptime for store technology. The specialist collaborates with various teams, including the service desk, POS Business Analyst team, and store facility personnel.
  • Providing support for store IT issues
  • Troubleshooting desktop, POS, and audio systems
  • Performing light network work
  • Teaching store personnel how to use technology
  • Enforcing compliance with inventory management and credit card handling policies
  • Leading and participating in technology rollout projects
  • Providing thorough documentation on technologies, vendors, and processes
  • Reviewing store technology use and security policies
The applicant needs to have:
  • Based in the UK
  • Experience with Windows 10, iPad/iOS
  • Experience with POS hardware and software (Shopify preferred)
  • Cisco/Meraki networking experience, and Aerohive wireless Access Points
  • Experience with ISP & Network Troubleshooting
  • Vendor management skills
  • Understanding of VoIP cloud-based phone systems
  • Knowledge of Traffic counters, Loss Prevention equipment, security cameras, thermal and laser printers, barcode scanners
  • Ability to travel and be on-call for urgent issues
