Agilisys is seeking a Senior Voice Engineer to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of clients' voice environments. This role involves delivering complex technical work on ICT Voice infrastructure and systems, supporting operational requirements, and implementing new projects and technologies. The Senior Voice Engineer will also provide technical advice and recommendations on matters relating to ICT systems deployed by Agilisys. This is a contract role based in Wigan, North.
Role Involves:
- Telephony implementation, development, maintenance, and support (On-Premise, Hosted, Internet based (Cloud) & Voice routing protocols).
- Providing voice specific advice, project and consultancy.
- Delivering services in accordance with performance requirements, KPIs, and SLAs.
- Responding to incidents, service requests, and change requests.
- Managing customer expectations and providing feedback.
- Maintaining system administration and status monitoring processes.
- Developing and maintaining routine maintenance processes.
- Maintaining system records and documentation.
- Updating, patching, and hardening managed systems.
- Liaising with external suppliers to resolve complex matters.
Requirements:
- Experience with voice communication systems, including 8x8 Cloud, MITEL MSL, and physical 3300 controllers.
- Knowledge of voice network strategies and integration with IT infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with LAN, WAN, WiFi, and Cloud networking (desired).
- Network Monitoring/Network Troubleshooting / Diagnostics
- Knowledge of Voice for 8X8 Cloud Telephony, MITEL (Desired), SIP
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and workloads.
