Senior Accountant (Contract) at Flipp

Flipp is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the financial reporting process. This is a contract role for 12 months. The Senior Accountant will perform monthly close procedures, ensure the accuracy of internal and external reporting, and monitor compliance with policies and procedures.

Role Involves:

• Supporting the monthly close process and revenue recognition.
• Assisting in variance analysis and researching technical accounting issues.
• Supporting external audits and managing tax inquiries.
• Preparing information for corporate tax filings.
• Improving procedures and enhancing accounting systems.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of accounting experience
• Revenue accounting experience is preferred
• Completed or pursuing a professional accounting designation (CPA)
• US GAAP knowledge is an asset
• Salesforce and NetSuite experience is an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and complex Excel spreadsheets
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements
