Senior Video Editor at Newsweek

Newsweek is seeking a Senior Video Editor to create engaging, branded video content for Newsweek events. The Senior Video Editor will deliver top-notch production quality and ensure the seamless execution of pre-event promos and one awards video.Role involves:

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos
• Collaborate with team members to establish timelines and creative direction
• Incorporate music, sound effects, graphics, and visual effects
• Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines
• Oversee post-production workflow
• Manage and archive video assets

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Senior Video Editor
• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve)
• Familiarity with AI video editing tools
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition
• Solid knowledge of color correction, sound editing, and visual effects integration
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong communication skills
