(Senior) Financial Accountant (m/w/d) in Europe at Kayzen

Kayzen is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their diverse and globally distributed team. The Financial Accountant will report to the Finance Manager and play a crucial role in the success of Kayzen.

As a B2B SaaS platform, Kayzen enables companies to operate mobile programmatic marketing in-house. Programmatic in-housing is still in its infancy when it comes to the mobile advertising market, making this role an impactful one.

Responsibilities:

• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, especially invoice verification
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Handling account reconciliation and maintenance
• Serving as the main point of contact for audits and the company's auditor
• Documenting processes
• Contributing to process optimization in financial accounting, especially in the context of digitalization

Requirements:

• Completed degree or training as a certified accountant
• In-depth knowledge of accounting in accordance with German Commercial Code (HGB) and confident handling of VAT law
• Several years of professional experience in accounting and very good knowledge of DATEV
• Anaytical and solution-oriented way of working combined with a high service orientation
• High level of teamwork and communication skills
• Confident use of MS Office applications and an affinity for digital project management tools
• Conscientious and careful way of working
• Independent, self-reliant approach and above-average motivation
• Very good knowledge of English is an advantage
