Job Description

Simtra BioPharma Solutions, a leading contract development and manufacturing organization, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team in Halle/Westfalen, Germany. This is a 1-year fixed-term position focused on operating automatic inspection machines for visual control of liquid and freeze-dried drugs.Simtra BioPharma Solutions has over 65 years of experience collaborating with international clients to bring sterile injectable drugs to market. They offer a wide portfolio of delivery systems and services, including formulation development, lyophilization optimization, and global regulatory support.Role involves:

• Operating automatic inspection machines for vials and syringes
• Performing in-process controls and sampling
• Handling logistics and packaging related to machine operation
• Assisting with machine changeovers, setup, and maintenance
• Documenting work in batch records, logbooks, and checklists
• Performing manual visual inspection of injection vials
• Reporting abnormalities and critical errors to supervisors
• Maintaining cleanliness and order in assigned areas (6S)

Requirements:

• Completed training as a machine and plant operator is advantageous
• Professional experience in machine and plant operation from the industry is desirable
• Excellent eyesight (with or without corrective lenses)
• Experience in aseptic environments is advantageous
• Willingness to learn and a self-reliant, careful, and responsible work ethic
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system, including weekends
