Simtra BioPharma Solutions, a leading contract development and manufacturing organization, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team in Halle/Westfalen, Germany. Simtra collaborates with international clients to bring sterile, injectable drugs to market, specializing in cancer therapeutics.
The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating automatic inspection machines for the visual inspection of liquid and freeze-dried drugs. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and safety of pharmaceutical products manufactured by Simtra.
Responsibilities include:
- Operating automatic inspection machines for vials and syringes.
- Performing in-process controls and sampling.
- Managing logistics and packaging as part of machine operation.
- Assisting with equipment changeovers, setup, and maintenance.
- Documenting work in batch records, logbooks, and checklists.
- Conducting manual visual inspections of injection vials.
- Reporting abnormalities and critical errors to supervisors.
- Maintaining cleanliness and order (6S) in assigned areas.
Requirements:
- Completed training as a machine and plant operator (m/f/d) is advantageous..
- Professional experience in machine and plant operation in the industry is desirable.
- Professional experience in the aseptic area is advantageous.
- Willingness to learn and independent, careful and responsible way of working.
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift operation including weekend assignments
