Job Description
Virtu Financial is seeking an HR Generalist to be based in their Singapore office. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for HR matters across the Singapore, Sydney, and Hong Kong offices. Virtu values teamwork, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence.
Role involves: - Managing payroll for the APAC region, including year-end tax filings.
- Administering benefits programs.
- Performing Workday administration and maintaining employee records.
- Coordinating with recruitment and office management on relocations, visa processes, and onboarding.
Requirements: - 7+ years' experience in an HR role based in the APAC region.
- Experience in managing payroll, including year-end tax filings for the APAC region.
- Experience managing multi-national benefit plans.
- Proficiency in APAC employment laws and employer/employee tax regulations.
- Knowledge of ActivPayroll and Workday (strong plus).
- Strong communication skills with experience working with all levels of management.
- Flexibility to work varying hours to connect with the global HR team for meetings.
- Fluency in English; Chinese language skills desired but not required.
- Current residence in Singapore.
