CVX Ventures is seeking a dynamic Head of Sales to lead their Danish division in Copenhagen. The Head of Sales will be responsible for shaping sales strategies, driving commercial expertise, and ensuring long-term profitability.

The role involves:

  • Developing and implementing the sales strategy.
  • Building a strong lead generation system.
  • Driving sales and consistently exceeding revenue goals.
  • Hiring, developing, and leading a top-class sales team upon reaching certain sales targets.
  • Participating actively in budget work and setting goals for the organization.
  • Following KPIs and continuously developing and implementing action plans.
  • Representing CVX at events, gatherings, and conferences.
  • Working closely and collaborating with other leaders.
  • Reporting directly to the CEO.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience, preferably within venture capital, high-growth startups, or fast-paced work environments.
  • A natural ability to sell.
  • Proven success in achieving and exceeding revenue goals.
  • High work ethic and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Extremely driven and a desire to be the best in your field.
  • Proactive approach and ability to take ownership of everything you do.
  • People-focused with the ability to gather people.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with management and board levels.
  • Ability to gain trust from business leaders.
  • Excellent analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Humility and a passion for building and developing new companies.
  • Fluent in Danish and English.
  • Preferably a network within the Danish startup ecosystem.
