Linux System Administrator

Job Description

Veeam, the leading provider of data resilience solutions, is seeking a Linux System Administrator to join their Corporate Technology department. This role is based in Prague, Czechia, and involves managing Linux systems, designing secure infrastructure, and developing automation tools.

The Linux System Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the availability, scalability, and security of Veeam's Linux infrastructure. He will work with both production and development servers, virtual and physical. He will also implement observability best practices and participate in patch management.

Responsibilities:

• Managing Linux systems
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure
• Developing and maintaining automation tools
• Monitoring system health
• Implementing observability best practices
• Handling user requests
• Participating in patch management

Requirements:

• 3+ years of work experience
• Proficient knowledge of OC Linux
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible
• Experience with mail systems
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash)
• Experience with monitoring tools
• English proficiency
