Software Development Engineer in Test, Kasten  at Veeam Software

Veeam is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to join their Kasten team in Prague. This role will focus on contributing to the infrastructure and frameworks used to develop and test the Veeam Kasten data management platform, which is purpose-built for Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will be passionate about code quality, extensibility, coding standards, testing, and automation.

The role involves:

• Rolling out and maintaining on-premises and cloud infrastructures.
• Building test frameworks and enhancing product test coverage.
• Implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Developing tools to automate technical daily routines.
• Developing and enhancing Infrastructure as Code templates.
• Preparing technical documentation and specifications.

Veeam is looking for candidates with:

• 3+ years of experience in test automation.
• Experience developing and maintaining test frameworks.
• Experience with large-scale CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience working with Kubernetes and related cloud-native projects.
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and functional code using high-level programming languages.
• Comfort with shell scripting or other scripting languages like Python.
• Strong ownership of projects and good communication skills.
