Software Development Engineer in Test, Kasten 

Job Description

Veeam, the leader in data resilience, is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test for their Veeam Kasten data management platform. This platform is purpose-built for Kubernetes, providing enterprise operations teams with a system for backup and restore, disaster recovery, and application mobility.

The Software Development Engineer in Test will contribute to the infrastructure and frameworks used to develop and test the Veeam Kasten platform, ensuring security and excellence. The ideal candidate will be passionate about code quality, extensibility, coding standards, testing, and automation.

Role Involves:

• Rolling out and maintaining on-premises and cloud infrastructures.
• Building test frameworks and enhancing product test coverage.
• Implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Developing tools to automate technical daily routines.
• Developing and enhancing Infrastructure as Code templates.
• Preparing technical documentation and specifications.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in test automation.
• Experience developing and maintaining test frameworks.
• Experience with large-scale CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience working with Kubernetes and related cloud-native projects.
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and functional code using high-level programming languages.
• Comfort with shell scripting or other scripting languages like Python.
• Strong ownership of projects and good communication skills.
