Brunswick Group is seeking a Director in Chicago to join its Consumer Industries Sector (CIG) team. The Director will counsel consumer companies and business leaders on high-stakes issues. Brunswick Group is a global advisory firm that helps companies tackle high-stakes issues, navigate complex stakeholder relationships, and deliver high-impact outcomes.

The CIG Director will play a key role in marketing and internal leadership. Brunswick is a recognized industry leader, consistently ranking at the top for M&A communications. The Chicago office serves as the global hub for the consumer industries sector.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver strategic advice to consumer industries clients.
• Demonstrate knowledge of clients’ business and strategic communications issues.
• Monitor account profitability.
• Express points of view thoughtfully and analyze complex information.
• Write well-structured content.
• Source new business opportunities.
• Manage account teams.

Requirements:

• 10-15+ years of experience advising consumer industries clients.
• Extensive expertise in understanding stakeholders and issues within consumer industries.
• Experience managing teams of five or more people.
• Proven ability to interact with top-tier media.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills.
• Strong financial acumen.
