Cordros Capital Limited is seeking a Finance Analyst to join their team in Lagos, Nigeria. This role involves a wide range of financial activities, primarily focusing on maintaining financial records, ensuring accurate tax computation and remittance, and supporting the overall financial operations of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of fixed asset registers and computation of depreciation.
- Maintenance of accruals schedules and prepayments.
- Transactional tax computation and remittance (VAT, WHT, PAYE, Pension, ITF, and NSITF).
- Responding to tax queries and audits.
- Reconciling intercompany ledgers.
- Monitoring account receivables from customers and other subsidiaries.
- Reconciling investment schedules and identifying income.
- Preparing weekly and monthly net liquid capital returns.
- Daily call-over of transactions and postings.
- Posting and approving transactions ledgers and customer accounts.
- Processing payments to customers and vendors.
- Preparation of bank reconciliation.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in Finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Symplus).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Patience and Consistency.
