Cordros Capital Limited is seeking a Finance Analyst to join their team in Lagos, Nigeria. This role involves a wide range of financial activities, primarily focusing on maintaining financial records, ensuring accurate tax computation and remittance, and supporting the overall financial operations of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of fixed asset registers and computation of depreciation.
  • Maintenance of accruals schedules and prepayments.
  • Transactional tax computation and remittance (VAT, WHT, PAYE, Pension, ITF, and NSITF).
  • Responding to tax queries and audits.
  • Reconciling intercompany ledgers.
  • Monitoring account receivables from customers and other subsidiaries.
  • Reconciling investment schedules and identifying income.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly net liquid capital returns.
  • Daily call-over of transactions and postings.
  • Posting and approving transactions ledgers and customer accounts.
  • Processing payments to customers and vendors.
  • Preparation of bank reconciliation.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in Finance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Symplus).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Patience and Consistency.
