Cordros Capital Limited is seeking an Application Support Specialist to provide technical assistance for the company's software applications. The candidate will be the main contact for users experiencing technical difficulties, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of issues. This role involves working closely with development teams, system administrators, and end-users to troubleshoot and resolve application-related problems. The Application Support Specialist will also monitor application performance, implement updates, and maintain the software systems' stability and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Providing technical support for software applications and resolving user issues.
- Monitoring application performance and ensuring system stability.
- Collaborating with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
- Documenting issues, resolutions, and creating technical guides for users.
- Training users on new features and updates of the software.
- Identifying recurring issues and suggesting improvements to enhance user experience.
- Implementing software updates and patches as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and security standards.
- Working closely with Development teams to align technical deliverables with business goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ proven experience in application support or a similar role.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable plans.
- High level of organization and detail orientation..
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative.
